While waiting for the Musical Fountain Show at Manila Ocean Park last week, we had our side trip at Luneta Park. Would you believe that it was a first time for me?! Honestly, it was and I am so fulfilled!!! :) Ako nalang yata ang hindi pa nakapunta dito. Field trip na field trip talaga.. I was so happy when I saw the monument of our national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal, na sa textbooks ko lang nakikita before...
BTW, I'm looking forward to National Museum as my next destination..

I've been working for 2 years and 5 months now, and it's true that sometimes we wish we were students again. It's been 3 years since college but yesterday, I feel like an elementary student having an educational field trip at Manila Ocean Park. Luckily, it was a bright, sunny Saturday beside the Manila Bay. Our tickets were bought at Metrodeal and we were able to experience six attractions at cheaper price and with a perfect weather.
First attraction: Oceanarium.
We were amazed by the different kinds of marine animals, from tiny fishes to large sharks and sting rays. I've learned lots of trivia about these animals and I was able to name some of them. I hope this blog post would be very educational both for kids and adults.
Some of the notable creatures are Giant Arapaima, Giant Gourami, Alligator Gar, Tiger Barbs, Trevally and Cowfish....... I put their names on the pictures but they're too small, hope you can read it. :)
Second attraction: Trails to Antarctica.
It involved three activities: Slide O' Fun, Penguin Exhibit and Snow Village. It was my first time to see a real penguin. :) We were able to slide on ice before getting inside the Snow Village, where we lasted only for less than 2 minutes because it's really cold and it felt like our blood was also freezing.
Third attraction: Jellies (Dancing Sea Fairies). This was my very favorite because I love colors. We saw six species of Jellyfish. These jellies feed on zooplanktons and fish larvae. Blubber Jellyfish and Bizen Jellyfish are being enjoyed as food in other South East Asian countries like China and Japan. Other species are Upside-Down Jellyfish, Moon Jellyfish which do not sting humans, Amakusa Jellyfish and Spotted Jellyfish which is also known as Octopus Jellyfish in Japan.
After the jellies, we watched two plates at Mega 4D rider, then we had lunch at Seoul Dosirak. They have wallpapers of famous Korenovelas. We simply ordered a couple set which includes 2 drinks. We ate while watching K-Pop on their Smart TV.
Fourth Attraction: the Marine Life Show......
We met two very smart sea lions, Sandra and Vincent. They were so funny and the kids beside us really enjoyed their show.
Fifth Attraction: All-Star BirdShow
The parrots played basketball and shapes.. The cuckatoo knows how to do the math. I noticed that there's an unattended baggage near me which we thought was left by someone but later on we knew that it was part of the show. It is where the large yellow snake was secretly hidden.
Sixth: The Musical Fountain Show that started around 7PM because it needs to be dark. It was worth the wait, the dancing fountains and bright colorful lights were spectacular. It was another first time for me. They also projected some Nemo characters on water and it was really really fantastic!
It was a really fun-filled experience. I realized that there are many lives under the sea and we should learn how to protect them from being endangered. Let us dispose our wastes here on land properly and do not let it ruin their natural habitat.

Disclaimer: This is a one-week late post. :) I've been very busy last week and don't have the time to share it right away.
Last last Sunday, we've moved to a more spacious, comfy and outer condo unit, still at GA Tower. This will be our 3rd 1-year contract. Thanks to boyfie for helping me dissasemble and re-assemble my cabinet, all my heavy stuffs and for buying a new Uratex foam. After hours of lipat-bahay and tagaktak-pawis, we were so hungry and went to Trinoma for some refreshments. We can't go a day in Trinoma without hanging out at Timezone and everytime we are there, I get so curious about the near resto, Five Cows, maybe because my eyes get easily attracted to the colorful neon lights of their logo and I want to feature it in my blog. Wow, I just noticed that my personal blog is now turning itself into a food blog. At that time, we were craving for cakes and we saw in their menu that they have ice cream cakes so we've decided to go inside and give it a try.
I liked the ambience inside. The walls are all white with some picture frames. The chair and tables are wooden and also painted in white. The staffs have cow stuffed toys in their heads. They also have a separate bar for flavored shaved ice (which i was not able to try, maybe on my next visit).
Their menu is simply colorful and very descriptive. Ice cream cakes are their bestsellers.
Ayiieeee.. Thank you so much for the help.. <3
I ordered this After Eight Cake. This is made of layers of chocolate chip ice cream, mint ice cream, and choco cookie crust with dark chocolate frostings.
Their Old-Fashioned Banana Split...
And the very tasty... Creamy Beef and Mushroom Pasta. We will surely go back again for this.
Today, I decided to savor every moment with my one and only love love. May iba pa ba?? :) I want to feature in my blog our Sunday date. We're actually mall rats during the weekends! First, we watched the sci-fi film 'Prometheus'. I haven't watched the trailer so at first I thought it was another mythological film. The story revolves inside the spaceship 'Prometheus' and in the distant moon LV-223 where they landed. The setting is futuristic, it happens in the late 21st century (2093). The scientists' mission is to find the 'Engineers', the aliens they believed to have created humanity as they have same DNA as humans. If I will give it a rating, 5 being the highest, I'll give it a 3 because there are many questions left unanswered and I don't like the idea that humans are created by aliens.
For merienda, we've munched on these little chewy cream puffs from Chewy Jr. Blueberry Cream Cheese is my favorite. Soooo creamy on the inside....
Beside Chewy Jr. is The White Hat. We've shared on Italian frozen yogurt with mangoes and cheese cake toppings. We saw Close Up commercial model/starstruck avenger Ian Batherson buying but I was shy to take a photo of him.
For Dinner, we tried Japanese food at Oki OKi. We ordered Gyosha, Gyudon and Ebi Curry Don. Yummmy, but we were not able to finish all because we're so full... :)

I'm not active to any activities this weekends but I'm excited to share with you guys my experience last Thursday (May 31) at MetroBar......the Rap Rockan 2 with Kamikazee, Gloc 9 and Parokya ni Edgar. First time ko pumunta sa gig!!! \m/.. We came at the bar early but we were not allowed to enter yet. I was quite disappointed because all the front seats were reserved by sponsors (mostly from E-Pipe). We were seated upstairs pero ka-tapat naman ng stage kaya keribels narin.
Sobrang daming tao.. Ang tagal tuloy dumating ng order namin..
With Rad, Anne and Rye..
KAMIKAZEE.............. Ang sabi ko hindi kita mami-miss.. hanggang kailan ito matitiis..
Vinci wants to hear the audience scream 'Picha Pie'... (PNE performed 'Buloy', 'Halaga', 'Picha Pie', 'Inuman Na', 'One and Only You', 'Silvertoes', 'Yes Yes Show')
Parokya with Gloc 9 singing 'One Hit Combo'.. and with Jay Contreras for 'Okatokat'..
